The Logistics Specialist (AWW) supports Pratt & Whitney’s production and sustainment operations by ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant movement of materials throughout the supply chain. Operating under an Alternate Work Week schedule, this role provides critical off-shift coverage to maintain 24/7 operational continuity across shop floor logistics, materials replenishment, and distribution functions.

What You Will Do:

• Key coordination with PW material managers, spares and delivery assurance on material priorities.
• Attendance on critical part/engine center or spares material calls.
• Coordination with supporting distribution facility 3PL contacts on distribution processing.
• Lead and coordinate communications back to internal stakeholders on transportation/distribution milestone events.
• Maintain facility escalation listing and key focals.
• Adherence to Quality, Regulatory and Global Trade process requirements.
• Coordination with 3PL Control tower focals on material movements for internal and external networks.
• Carrier/Transport coordination with our Transportation providers,  TMS and Customs broker processes.     

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
• Experience in logistics, materials handling, warehousing, or manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Ability to work an Alternate Work Week schedule (e.g., 3x12 or 4x10 depending on site requirements).

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior experience in aerospace or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement.

Work Schedule:

• Alternate Work Week (AWW) schedule. Exact shift pattern determined by site operations and may include nights or weekends.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
