Description

Position Summary:

The System Administrator at will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. This position involves managing a variety of applications and systems, including AD Manage Engine, PDQ Deploy, PDQ Inventory, NinjaOne, Azure Enterprise Apps, Active Directory, Intune, AWS Workspaces, and Sophos. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system and network administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure compliance and optimal performance of our IT resources.

Essential Functions:

  • AD Manage Engine:
    • Set up automations for user and computer account management.
    • Integrate with other systems such as UKG.
  • PDQ Deploy:
    • Create and update software deployment packages.
  • Develop and maintain smart lists for inventory management.
  • Manage server and laptop patching.
  • Set up and enforce IT policies.
  • Maintain and manage enterprise applications.
  • Active Directory (AD):
    • Collaborate with Engineering and InfoSec teams to ensure compliance and proper setup of Azure enterprise apps, AD groups, OUs, and accounts.
  • Ensure Intune is installed on mobile devices using company apps such as Office 365.
  • AWS Workspaces:
    • Manage workspaces, ensuring proper use of disk space and proper workspace types.
  • Sophos:
    • Ensure laptop encryption compliance with Sophos.
  • Strong virtualization knowledge with tools like Hyper-V and Proxmox.
  • Support:
    • Day-to-day support for internal clients/customer throughout the organization
    • Ability to effectively help, support, and mentor other members of the team.
  • Product Implementation:
    • Evaluate, implement, and integrate new hardware and software products and services
  • Microsoft Admin Center:
  • Maintain and support Microsoft tools like Admin Center, Exchange, Entra, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and, Defender.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience working in a Virtualized Microsoft Environment
  • Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, Server Administration and Microsoft Admin Center tools.

Location/Working Conditions:

  • Work is in the office in St. Croix, USVI.
  • Required Travel: Infrequent/ Not applicable

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Must be able to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time, talking & hearing constantly.
  • Occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit in front of computer monitor(s) daily.
  • Noise level: moderate noise level daily in an office atmosphere.
