Job description

As a member of AWS AFX - Planning Tools team, you will shape the AWS business's direction as a whole. You will contribute to defining and building the next go-to-market (GTM) platform for the AWS Sales organization

In addition to working on the latest Salesforce technologies, you'll have the opportunity to innovate in the space of Sales Planning and Management. You'll be chartered with creating and operating applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field, and with embedding operational knowledge and encoding best practices into everything we do. The right candidate will have a robust system delivery background, well-rounded technical knowledge, and demonstrated experience working on large scale projects.

The candidate must be customer-obsessed, have strong analytical and communication skills, and thrive on solving challenging business problems. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with multiple teams. You will design and build scalable platforms that enable AWS to sell new products and services with the necessary speed to market.
The team shares a passion for delivering superior products for AWS, innovating using advanced technologies, and impacting the AWS business in a meaningful way

We're looking for individuals who are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy solving large scale business challenges, and enjoy working in a startup-like environment.
Key job responsibilities
Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customization
Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architecture solutions that best use Salesforce Territory Planning/Salesforce Maps.
Support cross systems and related integrations across Salesforce eco system
Build solutions on Salesforce.com platform, including development in Force.com, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Apex and Web Services
Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to maintain and enhance Salesforce applications in iterative release cycles
Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring
