PDRs play a key role in building strong relationships between AWS and its partners, providing guidance on best practices, co-selling opportunities, and technical enablement. Their goal is to drive mutual growth and success for both AWS and its ecosystem partners.

To thrive as an AWS Partner Development Representative, strong sales acumen, relationship management skills, and a solid understanding of cloud technologies are essential, often supported by a bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, AWS Partner Network (APN) tools, and AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner can be highly beneficial.
