Strategic Client Partner - AWS Financial Services

Overview

Capgemini is seeking a Strategic Client Partner to drive growth across our AWS ecosystem within Financial Services clients in New York.

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role focused on expanding executive relationships and driving cloud-led transformation initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and client engagement , with a strong emphasis on AWS-enabled solutions and long-term partnership development.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of enterprise sales experience, financial services expertise, and the ability to engage credibly with senior client executives .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Head of Engineering, Risk, and Line of Business leaders)

  • Drive growth across strategic accounts by identifying and expanding AWS-led transformation opportunities

  • Partner closely with AWS and internal Capgemini teams to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships aligned to long-term client priorities

  • Lead complex deal cycles involving:

  • Cloud transformation

  • Application modernization

  • Data platforms

  • AI-enabled solutions

  • Collaborate with delivery, consulting, and alliance teams to ensure strong solution positioning and execution

  • Navigate regulatory, risk, and compliance considerations within Financial Services environments

Qualifications:

  • ~10–15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, client partnership, or account leadership roles within IT services or consulting

  • Demonstrated experience working with Financial Services clients (banking, capital markets, and/or insurance)

  • Strong understanding of the AWS cloud ecosystem, including:

  • Cloud migration and modernization

  • Data platforms and architectures

  • AI / advanced analytics solutions

  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and build long-term client relationships

  • Experience driving complex, multi-year deals and strategic account growth

  • Established professional network within Financial Services preferred

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technology into business value

Role Profile:

  • Director to Senior Director level, based on experience

  • Strategic client partner with revenue growth responsibility

  • Focus on account expansion and executive engagement

  • Not a transactional sales role
