Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
DevOps / AWS Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS services, automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code practices. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, a mindset for continuous improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively with development and operations teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure (AWS) - Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure AWS cloud environments.
- Work with core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and ELB.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
CI/CD & Automation - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve release efficiency.
Containerization & Orchestration - Work with Docker containers and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, EKS, or ECS.
Monitoring & Reliability - Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance through SRE best practices.
Security & Compliance - Implement AWS security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, secrets management, and logging.
- Support governance, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
Collaboration & Support - Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to enable smooth deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of critical systems.
Required Skills - 5-10+ years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or AWS Engineer.
- Strong hands-on expertise with a wide range of AWS services.
- Proficiency in Terraform / CloudFormation for IaC.
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Routing, Security Groups).
Preferred Qualifications - AWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Admin).
- Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
