We are building the next generation of data-driven aviation software to revolutionize aircraft maintenance, operations, supply chain management, and fleet intelligence. Our customers include airlines, MROs, OEMs, and aviation vendors seeking more efficient, intelligent, and cost-effective ways to manage complex operations.

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our AI-powered software solutions. This role will play a critical part in validating mission-critical aviation workflows, intelligent automation capabilities, and modern cloud-based applications used by internal teams and global customers.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, TPMs, data analysts, and business stakeholders to establish quality standards, drive test automation, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for aviation maintenance, supply chain, and operational software solutions.
  • Create and maintain functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end test plans.
  • Validate AI-driven workflows, intelligent recommendations, predictive analytics, and agentic automation capabilities.
  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality requirements during feature design.
  • Test integrations between Airvoyant and external enterprise systems, including ERP, MRO, inventory, procurement, and supplier platforms.
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across application workflows and reporting systems.
  • Perform API testing and verify microservices interactions across distributed systems.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines through automated testing and release validation processes.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability testing to ensure production readiness.
  • Develop test data, test environments, and quality metrics to support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for production issues.
  • Document test approaches, quality standards, and release readiness assessments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

  Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7+ years of experience in software quality assurance for enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, defect management, and quality processes.
  • Experience designing and executing automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar technologies.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs and distributed systems using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience validating data within relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar).
  • Experience testing cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
  • Hands-on experience working within AWS environments and validating cloud-based applications and services.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, IAM, and EventBridge.
  • Experience testing event-driven architectures, asynchronous workflows, and cloud integrations within AWS ecosystems.
  •  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated release validation processes.
  • Understanding of modern software development practices, Agile methodologies, and DevOps workflows.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience testing AI/ML-powered applications, Generative AI solutions, or Agentic AI workflows.
  • AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, or Solutions Architect Associate) preferred.
  • Experience validating serverless applications and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience testing data pipelines, ETL workflows, and cloud-native analytics solutions.
  • Experience validating Large Language Model (LLM) outputs, recommendation engines, or predictive analytics platforms.
  • Experience in aviation, MRO, supply chain, ERP, or enterprise operations systems.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance workflows, parts procurement, inventory management, and supplier operations.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
