Job description

Job Title : AWS Cloud Architect
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Duration: 12+ months

We need the AWS Cloud Architect who can work with the stakeholder and manage the project as an enterprise architect.
The key skillset is the architect should have good knowledge in AWS and along with it, have good knowledge in creating architecture with React, Node, and Rest APIs
Work closely with business in identifying solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios for the platform roadmap.
• Design and prototype cloud solutions, create solution architecture documentation covering deep technical aspects of the implementation
• Conduct cloud solutions architecture review/audit and create review/audit report
• Lead implementation of the solution from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"". This includes leading a global team of engineers
• Oversee the development efforts and provide technical help as needed
• Support the organization in pre-sales activities participate in evangelizing the Cloud platforms
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices
• Create thought leadership on cloud solutions and hybrid clouds
• Advocate for information security policies, standards, and controls and be an enabler to the business while managing risk appropriately.
• Experience with one or more major cloud provider technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). AWS is a must.
• Large-scale development or application engineering with coding experience
• Designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies and experience Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
• Deep expertise in solution architecture including microservices, relational and non-relational databases, front-end and/or back-end technologies
• Good exposure to Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration (CI), and automated deployment.
• Experience with Source Control (Git) and DevOps automation tools
• Experience working with highly scalable, performant, and mission critical architectures
• Ability to suggest competitive and innovative technical decisions, get client buy-in and deliver commitments
• Strong communication skills, ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Node.JS, Java
• In order for applications to be fully optimized, they need to be architected to take advantage of the global scale, elasticity, automation, and high availability features of the AWS cloud. On the AWS platform, services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, Kinesis, AI and others provide opportunities to design and build cloud-ready applications.
• Background / Exposure to ML is a plus
• Experience in Amazon Connect, Twilio platforms is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineer or related field preferred
• 12+ years of Industry experience
• Professional AWS Solutions Cloud Architect Certification is highly desirableBest Regards
