Aerial Work Platform (AWP) operators are trained professionals who operate mechanical devices, such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cherry pickers, to provide temporary access to elevated and hard-to-reach areas. These platforms are commonly used in construction, maintenance, and warehousing to safely elevate workers and equipment. AWP operators are responsible for ensuring safe operation, conducting equipment inspections, and adhering to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Familiarity with specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance management systems is crucial for effective performance.
