As aWork Management Process Specialist I, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent execution of field maintenance across Liquid Pipeline Operations. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will shape how work is identified, planned, executed, and analyzed leveraging tools like Maximo to strengthen performance, enhance data quality, and deliver continuous improvement across a complex, crossregional environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the development, execution, and continuous optimization of field work management processes across the full lifecycle (Identify, Plan, Schedule, Execute, Close, Analyze), with a strong focus on data quality and operational performance.

  • Drive and govern Maximo process, configuration, and data changes within LP scope-ensuring disciplined change management, stability, and readiness for future system enhancements.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance metrics, identifying gaps, and enhancing work management practices to improve reliability, efficiency, and value realization.

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), delivering actionable insights that support maintenance effectiveness and decision-making.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and front-line support to resolve work management system and data issues, ensuring minimal disruption to field operations.

  • Collaborate with regional teams, enterprise partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align processes, share best practices, and ensure integrated, end-to-end workflow efficiency.

  • Guide and coach teams across geographically dispersed regions, promoting standardization, strong data governance, safety, and consistent adherence to work management best practices.

What You Have:

  • Related university degree and sevenplus years' oil & gas, maintenance, or pipeline experience OR tenplus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • Solid understanding in development and implementation of new processes.

  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of work management philosophies and practices.

  • Proven ability to self-teach on the job.

  • Experience and knowledge of work management functions.

  • Must be detail-oriented and possess intellectual curiosity.

  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of how enterprise resource planning technologies relate to business and good understanding of current technologies used in the enterprise.

  • Uses critical and strategic thinking to resolve analytical and technical conflicts.

  • Effectively communicate and present both technical and non-technical information to stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (Maximo or other)

  • Understanding of regional complexity and geographic uniqueness.

  • Knowledgeable in oil/gas pipeline operations.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Power BI or equivalent for data analytics, reports, and dashboards.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment

  • Travel - Moderate travel to LP field locations, Business Unit offices, project meetings, and committee meetings.

  • Support - High level of support delivered to regional staff, internal departments, and internal committees.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $94,500 - $135,000CADforOntariolocations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Ranges from $96,200- $135,000USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
