Position Summary

Support with precision and excellence as an Assistant Maintenance Manager at Jet Aviation.

In this key role, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance, helping to ensure peak airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance across a premium fleet. What We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates who will ensure every aspect of aircraft maintenance is maintained to the highest standards and have:

  • Expert Credentials: Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) certificate required
  • Proven Experience: Three years of aviation maintenance, including at least two years of hands-on experience with corporate aircraft. Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and oversight of inspections, repairs, and modifications is essential.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variable schedule to support diverse flight mission profiles.
  • Global Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
  • Education: Two years of college or equivalent technical training is preferred.
  • License Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

What You'll Do
  • Leadership Support & Compliance: Support adherence to company manuals and regulatory standards, maintain technical proficiency through ongoing training, and represent Jet Aviation as a trusted industry ambassador. Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Aircraft Maintenance: Assist the Maintenance Manager in performing and overseeing maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with airworthiness standards. Maintain accurate logbooks and records, while monitoring maintenance activities at remote locations.
  • Operational Support: Help plan and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, oversee remote maintenance efforts, manage computerized tracking systems, and review directives and bulletins for relevance. Support procurement by gathering and comparing maintenance quotes for supervisor evaluation.
  • Client & Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to fulfill maintenance requirements. Assist in managing contracts, manuals, and budgets, ensuring accuracy in invoicing and payments.
What You'll Experience
  • Physical Requirements: Perform tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
  • Work Environment: Operate in a variety of environments, from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces. Experience the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures, including occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes. Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings.
