WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
The AVP, Sr. Software Engineer role is responsible for leading and contributing to the various Engineering projects that Revantage executes for the different PortCos and Blackstone. This position involves designing, developing and maintaining modern software solutions that lean on data to drive business insights and support critical decisions in our businesses. We are looking for seasoned engineers who have experience developing event-driven, serverless, microservice-based, and scalable solutions in the cloud. This position will be based at one of Revantage's offices in Dallas or Chicago. Ideal candidates are naturally curious, constantly looking out for and eliminating edge cases, and recognize the value of automation and test development early in the development process.
How You Add Value
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related experience
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in software engineering
  • Significant experience developing applications in Python or .NET
  • Significant experience in building cloud-based solutions (Azure or AWS)
  • Experience building serverless (FaaS) workloads on Azure or AWS
  • Solid understanding of event-based and containerized workloads
  • Understanding of application logging and monitoring services and patterns
  • Experience developing, hosting and supporting REST APIs
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and test-driven development

Base Compensation Range:
$127,000.00 To $170,000.00 Annually. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company's base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
Total Direct Compensation:
This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
