Overview:
Sentara Health Plan AvMed Miami in Doral, Florida is looking to hire a Sales Coordinator- Group.
This is a Hybrid position 2 days in office and 3 days remote.
The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales and Account Executive by processing quote/proposal requests timely and accurately in response to new and/or renewing business.
Processes sold new/renewing business installations in a timely manner, ensuring
groups are installed well in advance of the solicited effective date.
Follows-up with Underwriting, Enrollment and other functional areas to ensure group
installations are acted upon timely and any pending matters resolved.
Reconciles enrollment against the systems to identify plan and membership
discrepancies and acts as a liaison between the Sales Rep and the technical teams
to resolve them.
Provides administrative and technical support to the Sales Team by ensuring
eligibility rosters, stepwise censuses, and other required documents are complete
and accurate
Keeps up with changes and maintains working knowledge of AvMed's Product
Portfolio and underwriting guidelines for all AvMed products
Assists management with the Monthly Renewal Process and Renewal Change
requests, as assigned.
Identifies opportunities to improve the sales process and enhance customer service
to internal and external clients.
Education:
• High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
• Associated degree (preferred).
Experience:
• 2 years data management with emphasis in accuracy (required)
• Experience in Word, and Excel (required)
• Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred.
