During your internship experience, you can expect to:

Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of schoolremainingafter the internship.
Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing).
Available to work full time for a minimum of 15weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.

Design, develop, test, andmaintainsoftware applications (with a focus on avionics and flight systems).
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, verify, andvalidatesafety-critical, real-time embedded software for launch vehicle systems.
Participate in full software lifecycle: requirements analysis, implementation, verification, documentation, and system integration.
Write and review code primarily in C, C++, and Python for embedded and application environments.
Create andmaintaintools and infrastructure to support efficient build, debugging, testing, deployment, and automation.
Ensure reliability, quality, and safety in all delivered software.
Review and update software requirements and designs for testability and verifiability.
Additionalskills:
Programming experience in at least one major language used here: C, C++, or Python.
Experience (through coursework, co-ops, internships, or projects) in software development, problem solving, and debugging.
Exposure to software verification, test planning/execution, or automated testing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
