Familiarity with aviation supply chain management systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or similar inventory tracking software, and sometimes certification in logistics or supply management, is highly valued. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills help storekeepers excel in supporting maintenance crews and ensuring timely supplies. As an Aviation Storekeeper, your daily responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and storing parts and supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records, and issuing materials to maintenance personnel as needed.
