JOB DESCRIPTION
Advanced level Support individual contributor with broad working knowledge of sub function's procedures or tools developed through formal training or work experience. Nature of work is standard with moderate complexity and tends to have some precedent with limited supervision. Responsible for the completion of assigned processes or activities, in accordance with sub function processes. May assess issues/performance, which promote/impede service delivery. Provides assistance and training to lower-level employees.
Knowledge
Has working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of Aviation Maintenance operational processes. Has working knowledge of Aviation Maintenance and skills developed through formal training or work experience. Works within established procedures with a moderation degree of supervision.
Decision Making and Complexity
Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using Aviation Maintenance standard procedures and makes sound decisions. Has limited prior relevant Aviation Maintenance training or work experience. Has limited discretion to vary from established Aviation Maintenance procedures.
Impact and Influence
Completes a variety of atypical assignments and works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments in a range of Aviation Maintenance processes or procedures.
People Accountabilities
Receives instruction, guidance, and directions from their manager or senior staff. Provides support to manager or senior staff. Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience in Aviation Maintenance. May be assisted by and/or provide guidance to entry/junior level Aviation Maintenance team members.
Job Level Profile Qualifications
Associates degree or higher in specific field, other related (technical, business, quantitative) field, or foreign equivalent (preferred) 3 + years or related experience
Work Schedule: rotational schedule of two weeks on/two weeks off, working 12-hour shifts
Candidates must hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and have demonstrated experience supporting turboprop aircraft.
