Job description

Job Summary

This role is supporting the activities for the Group’s cash management. The cash management is a key activity for the business to manage liquidity across all entities within the group. Working closely with the Treasury teams based in Madrid and Zurich, the Financial Intern will liaise with regional and group finance teams to ensure the timely and accurate production of a cash flow forecast and the actual spendings in line with those on a daily basis. Supporting payments that are managed by the Treasury team in Madrid, obtaining data, variance analysis, identifying and follow ups of failed payments. 

Your activities

    • Accurate and timely coordination of the payment request 
    • Integrity checks and execution control of transactions 
    • Support the preparation of consolidated cashflow forecasts and actuals 
    • Support management of bank guarantees 
    • Support the security admin activities related to accesses in various Treasury systems 
    • Support the treasury team with ad-hoc projects 

Your profile

    • Good communication skills, able to clearly articulate position with clarity  
    • Ideally, you’ll have advanced Excel skills and an analytical mindset 
    • Studies in the field of finance 
    • High energy, high motivation 
    • Strong work ethic 
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English
