Job Description:
  • The end client has an excellent opportunity for an Aviation Civil Engineer to support development of airfield and municipal project plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, storm water design, quantity takeoffs, technical specifications, and contract documents for airport and municipal projects throughout Georgia and Florida.
  • The selected individual will perform all aspects of project delivery, from concept to construction closeout, including client interaction, while applying the latest technologies and software advancements.
  • This position may also involve active resident engineering assignments during the construction phase of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare conceptual designs, preliminary cost estimates, and permitting documents
  • Develop design documents, construction plans, technical specifications, and engineering reports
  • Perform construction administration services, in office and in the field

Qualifications/ Experience:
  • AAS or BS degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil-related field
  • Course work in civil/infrastructure design, transportation engineering, water resources, pavement engineering, construction management, and related topics
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Strong communication skills
  • EIT, a plus
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Ability to obtain Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge required, including Federal Background Check (with clear record)
