Eligibility Criteria for the Registered Dental Hygienist Role:

  • Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
  • Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
  • Have certification in Laser dentistry
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to oral health and patient well-being

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH):

  • Deliver educational guidance on dental hygiene and nutrition
  • Eliminate plaque and tartar through scaling and polishing techniques
  • Conduct impressions and/or take dental X-rays
  • Apply preventive treatments such as antibacterial agents, sealants, and topical fluorides to avert tooth decay
  • Perform screening and monitoring tasks
