About the role
This position is responsible for leading the operational execution of our AV and Structured Cabling solutions. This role builds and manages the engineering and project delivery teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to company standards.
This role owns the short-term P&L performance of the groups, including gross margin, labor efficiency, and execution consistency translating company strategy into scalable processes, team structure, consistent execution and ensures engineering effectively supports both preconstruction and project delivery.
What you'll do
  • Own end-to-end performance across all AV and Structured Cabling projects including schedule, budget, and quality outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Engineers across AV and Structured Cabling.
  • Own short-term P&L performance, driving achievement of revenue, gross margin and labor efficiency targets.
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes across Engineering and Project Management, from project handoff through closeout.
  • Monitor project financial health, ensure accurate forecasting, and lead timely identification, pricing, and capture of change orders.
  • Ensure engineering and project management functions operate consistently along defined standards for quality, documentation, and client communication.
  • Align engineering and PM resources across active project needs and the sales pipeline, in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Support complex bids and design-build opportunities validating project approach, risk, constructability, and resource requirements.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project issues, resolving challenges proactively before executive involvement is required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or 5+ years of experience in AV integration, Structured Cabling, or similar technical contracting environments
  • Proven experience leading Engineering and/or Project Management teams
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with building safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
