Their duties typically include starting, stopping, and inspecting equipment like pumps, compressors, and boilers to ensure efficient and safe operations. They assist in troubleshooting issues, perform routine maintenance, and report abnormalities to higher-level operators or supervisors. Auxiliary Operators play a crucial role in supporting the main operations and maintaining overall plant safety and reliability.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an auxiliary operator, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Auxiliary Operator, you need a solid understanding of power plant operations, mechanical systems, and safety procedures, often supported by a high school diploma or technical certification.
