Job description

Job Summary:
Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture and service of highly engineered systems within the plastic technology industry. They are seeking an Auxiliary Equipment Product Manager to provide technical expertise and commercial support for injection molding auxiliary equipment, focusing on system optimization and customer support.
Responsibilities:
• Act as technical and commercial support for auxiliary systems within North, Central and South America, in collaboration with the field sales, applications, and auxiliary team members
• Perform on-site evaluations of injection molding processes and existing auxiliary equipment at customer locations
• Support and recommend the proper application of auxiliary equipment and auxiliary systems including, but not limited to:
• Resin drying and moisture control equipment, both central systems and beside the press applications
• Material vacuum conveying, multi-material blending systems, and additive feeding systems
• Mold temperature control units, Central Heat Transfer Systems (water, oil, hot runner controllers)
• Robotics, part handling, downstream automation equipment, and other automation processes
• Quick Mold Change Products, Magnetic Clamps, Hydraulic Clamping Systems, Mold Tables
• Assist sales teams by validating technical requirements, system configurations, and application feasibility
• Where necessary, support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and process optimization
• Work directly with customer process engineers, maintenance teams, and operators to resolve technical challenges
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and feedback to engineering and product development teams
• Other duties as assigned by your manager/senior leadership to accelerate Value Capture Growth plans
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3–5 years of experience in injection molding, plastics processing, or auxiliary equipment applications/support
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes and auxiliary system integration
• Working knowledge of polymer behavior, drying theory, and material handling fundamentals
• Ability to diagnose process-related issues and recommend corrective actions
• Comfortable working in manufacturing environments and performing on-site technical support
• Act as technical and commercial support for auxiliary systems within North, Central and South America, in collaboration with the field sales, applications, and auxiliary team members

Preferred:
• Hands-on experience as a process engineer, applications engineer, molding technician, or injection molding field sales representative
• Automation Experience with 6 Axis Articulating Robot Applications and downstream automation processes.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; professional experience may offset for formal education
• Experience supporting centralized material handling systems or multi-machine installations
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics
