Development Engineer - Model-Based Application Software (m/f/d)

  • Model-based development of application software components (SWCs) that communicate with the base software and other components via the AUTOSAR RTE
  • Mapping state machines using Stateflow and control algorithms (e.g., field-oriented control of electric machines for automotive applications) in Simulink models
  • Code generation using Simulink Coder / Embedded Coder with the AUTOSAR Blockset and integration with the base software via the generated RTE interfaces (ports)
  • Coordination with base software and hardware development regarding interfaces and the characteristics of the electric machines
  • Verification and testing of the generated application software
Your profile
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or computer science with a focus on control engineering or a comparable field
  • Very good knowledge of MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow as well as Simulink Coder/Embedded Coder; knowledge of the AUTOSAR Blockset is ideal
  • Knowledge of field-oriented control of electric machines is desirable
  • Good knowledge of the AUTOSAR interfaces (Ports/RTE) for connecting the application software to the base software
  • Structured and independent work style, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Business-level proficiency in German and good written and spoken English
