The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to join our team on a contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security. As a Senior Endpoint Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team of windows cloud engineers and security specialists with expert experience in Windows, Intune, Autopilot, Enterprise Patching, PKI/Certificates, Azure Active Directory, Virtualization, Cloud, and scripting experience. In this role, you will work across endpoint management and server operations teams driving automation through scripting and testing of new/emerging technologies to deliver faster deployments and decreased workload.
Responsibilities:
- Support Intune administration and engineering, to include compliance policies for conditional access, application deployment and patching, management and troubleshooting
- Use Windows Update for Business to keep Windows workstations patched to correct levels
- Create and deploy Intune configurations, policies, and settings
- Manage and maintain Windows 11 workstation baseline configurations
- Support and troubleshooting for Windows Autopilot
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions
- Package software and updates for deployment in the test and production environments.
- Develop security baselines based on the recommendations from the Engineering and Security teams.
- Create reports on device compliance, application deployment, patch management, and software inventory
- Write PowerShell scripts to automate systems administration tasks
- Respond to escalated service desk/team requests
- Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers
- Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments
- Serves as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met
- Participates in special projects as required
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to attain DHS EOD
- BA + 10 years' applicable experience, AA + 12 years' applicable experience or 16 years' experience
- Intune experience, supporting software packaging and patching
- Windows Autopilot experience
- EntraID (AzureAD) experience
- Expert knowledge of packaging, testing, deployment, and issue remediation
- Solid knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory
Desired:
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification
- MCSE Certified
- STIG Policy experience
- Vulnerability Management experience
- Cloud Management experience
- AVD Management
