Role responsibilities
  • Autonomous Vehicle Validation:

    • Collect and analyze vehicle data from tests and field operations.
    • Collaborate with developers for alignment on effective test plans to validate feature developments.
    • Conduct field tests to evaluate vehicle performance and safety features and provide detailed test reports.
    • Identify performance issues, document bugs, and support cross-functional teams in analyzing test results to improve vehicle systems.
  • Maintenance and Support:

    • Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on vehicles such as sensor, compute and power systems.
    • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely resolution of hardware failures and part replacements (eg Terberg for faults related to the base vehicle platform and drive-by-wire control system).
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements in all on-site activities.
    • Be able to communicate and work with an international team to plan tests, debug, and implement new features.
Required experience
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, etc.).
  • 3+ years of validation testing or servicing experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS, or robotics systems.
  • Team player, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Jira, Zephyr, and the Atlassian suite of tools.
  • Extensive experience with Linux and Docker environments.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical systems and electrical/electronic wiring.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones with an international team.
Bonus experience
  • Experience with real world robotics deployment.
  • Proficiency in sensor calibration and integration.
  • Hands-on experience in Bash, Python, C++ and ROS.
  • Possession of a Class 3 Driving licence.
