Job description

About the Role
Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Facilities Custodian to support the cleanliness and maintenance of our office and shop spaces. This role reports to the Facilities Manager and requires 20-28 hours per week. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping a workspace clean, safe, and professional. This position could evolve into a full-time role over the next 12-18 months as our facilities expand.
Job Duties
  • Daily cleaning of restrooms, kitchen, conference rooms, and office space
  • Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
  • Weekly deep cleaning (2x/week): carpets, floor mats, chairs
  • Other deep cleaning duties as needed
  • Safely handle mild cleaning chemicals
  • Work independently while following a cleaning schedule and producing consistent results

Requirements
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation to and from ASI's facility
  • Previous cleaning experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs

Physical Demands
This position regularly requires the use of hands, walking, standing, stooping, and bending. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
