Beep has partnered with ABI to transform urban mobility through autonomous shuttle technology - and we want YOU to be part of the future of transportation a Karsan e-JEST
As a Shuttle Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and smooth operation of autonomous vehicles while delivering outstanding passenger experience. The role combines safety monitoring, customer service, and real-time operational awareness to support the successful operation and supervision of autonomous mobility.
You will serve as the onboard ambassador for the service, helping riders feel comfortable with the technology while monitoring vehicle systems and ensuring cohesive and safe daily operations.
What You'll Do
Passenger Experience & Public Engagement
  • Create a welcoming and informative environment for passengers using the autonomous shuttle service.
  • Engage with riders, answer questions, and explain autonomous vehicle technology in simple, approachable terms.
  • Serve as a program ambassador by representing Beep and the client's program initiatives professionally with the public and community stakeholders.

Vehicle & System Monitoring
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of vehicle systems, proactively monitoring vehicle systems and autonomous driving performance during operations.
  • Observe traffic, road conditions, and system status to always ensure safe operations and situational awareness.
  • Respond to alerts or unusual system or vehicle behavior and follow procedures to bring the vehicle to a safe state when necessary. (Technical Troubleshooting)
  • Provide clear feedback on system performance and operation issues to the engineering teams to support continuous improvement of the service.

Operational Support
  • Maintain real-time communications with the Beep Command Center to report system status and coordinate operational responses.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure readiness for service.
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues as required.
  • Support testing activities or software updates by documenting observations and operational feedback.

Safety & Vehicle Care
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and passenger-ready conditions throughout the shift.
  • Following the end of every shift, ensure vehicles are properly charged, cleaned and prepared for the next service period.

What We're Looking For
Core Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with 3-5 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screening.
