Full-Time | Service Department

Groulx GMC is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We are a family‑owned dealership committed to quality, integrity, and exceptional customer care. Position Overview

The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to GMC and dealership standards. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and experience with transmission repair or a willingness to specialize in this area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on GMC and other makes/models
  • Specialize in transmission service and repair (preferred but not required)
  • Complete multi‑point inspections and document findings
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
  • Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines
  • Stay current with GM training, technology, and repair procedures
