What You'll Do

As an Automotive Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality repairs while helping customers keep their vehicles performing at their best.

Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics

  • Test vehicle systems and components to verify proper operation
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns accurately and efficiently
  • Isolate and identify faulty systems or components causing vehicle issues
  • Utilize electronic diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to troubleshoot problems
  • Perform road tests to verify repairs and diagnose customer concerns

Maintenance & Repair Services

  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid inspections, and tire services
  • Inspect and refill vehicle fluids as necessary
  • Install oil drain plugs, oil filters, and perform preventative maintenance services
  • Repair or replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning vehicle components
  • Complete repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy while performing repairs and maintenance

Teamwork & Shop Operations

  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with Service Advisors and management
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Properly use and maintain power tools, machine tools, and hand tools
  • Stay current on evolving vehicle technologies, repair procedures, and manufacturer updates
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented service department culture
