Description
We are looking for an experienced Parts Counterperson to join our team!
As an Automotive Parts Counterperson, you will be responsible for overseeing the parts sales process from start to finish. You will work closely with the parts manager to ensure that all parts are obtained in a timely manner and that inventory levels are properly maintained. Your role is crucial in providing both our mechanics and customers with the necessary parts and supplies for their vehicles.
Automotive Parts Counter Sales Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies.
- Utilize the parts inventory management system to maintain proper stocking levels and minimize obsolescence.
- Complete special order part requests for both customers and service personnel.
- Communicate effectively with customers on parts status and with service department personnel to provide updates.
- Ensure all warranty parts are properly retained and returned to the manufacturer as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the industry.
Requirements
Automotive Parts Counter Person Qualifications:
- Automotive Parts experience is a MUST
- Automotive dealership experience required
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to start ASAP!
- Have strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and great communication skills
