Description of the role:
Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet Inc is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team. Are you the ideal candidate? Are you organized, customer-focused, and ready to keep our service department humming?  We're looking for a Parts Advisor to manage inventory, assist technicians and provide top-tier service to our retail and wholesale customers. Applicants must have a great deal of work ethic.  Applicants must value the virtue of duty (you do what is asked of you without strife as long as it is not: unsafe or unethical).  Must be capable of working in a team atmosphere because you are not just serving the external guests but the individuals you work with.
 
 
What You'll Do:
-Identify and source automotive parts for various makes and models
-Manage inventory flow, including receiving shipments and organizing the department
-Provide accurate quotes and technical advice to customers and service technicians
-Maintain a clean, efficient parts department environment
-Be willing to learn and adapt to new technology in the automotive dealership world
 
Physical Requirements:
-Lifting & Carrying: Ability to frequently lift and move objects such as tires, brake rotors and batteries
-Mobility: Regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and reach to stock or retrieve parts from high shelving

-Experience: Previous dealership experience is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate which a strong automotive background
-Skills: Strong communication, basic computer proficiency and a knack for multitasking
-Licensing: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
