Job description

Bravos Automotive is seeking a Director of Operations responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency, profitability, and performance of multiple locations within the automotive care, automotive collision, and dealership sectors. This role demands a results-driven leader with deep industry experience, strategic oversight, and a strong understanding of automotive service operations. The Director of Operations will work closely with senior management to implement operational strategies that drive excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, optimize processes, and achieve revenue and profit goals across all locations.ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  1. Leadership and Team Management:ย 

  • Lead and manage a team of regional or site managers to ensure effective daily operations across multiple locations.ย 

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to staff, ensuring a high level of productivity and professionalism.ย 

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment across all sites.ย 

  1. Operational Oversight:ย 

  • Oversee the operational management of automotive care services (maintenance, repair, diagnostics) and collision repair services, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.ย 

  • Ensure all dealership operations, including sales, service, and parts, run efficiently and align with organizational goals.ย 

  • Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.ย 

  • Ensure consistency and excellence in customer service across all locations.ย 

  • Lead operational growth throughout San Antonio and Texasย 

  1. Financial Performance:ย 

  • Collaborate with finance and senior leadership teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics for each location.ย 

  • Monitor and control operating expenses, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.ย 

  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and implement strategies to maximize profits across automotive care, collision repair, and dealership operations.ย 

  1. Strategic Planning and Growth:ย 

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence, improve service offerings, and meet corporate objectives.ย 

  • Evaluate and explore new business opportunities, including partnerships, mergers, or acquisitions.ย 

  • Lead the roll-out of new initiatives, technologies, or services that enhance customer experience and streamline operations.ย 

  1. Quality Control and Compliance:ย 

  • Ensure all locations adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.ย

  1. Technology and Process Improvement:ย 

  • Stay current on the latest automotive technologies, tools, and trends that can enhance operational efficiencies or customer experience.ย

Qualifications:ย 

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Automotive Technology, or related field experience.ย 

  • Experience:ย 

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in automotive care, collision, and dealership operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or multi-unit management role.ย 

  • Proven experience in managing multiple locations, ideally across automotive service, collision repair, and/or dealership settings.ย 

  • Skills:ย 

Able to lead by example and fostering a positive attitude within the shopsย 

  • Strong leadership, team building, and management skills.ย 

  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.ย
