Job description

Berkshire Hathaway Automotive is seeking a Media Coordinator to join our in-house media planning, placement, trafficking and reconciliation team.  As an extension of the Marketing department, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of media stewardship and reporting.  This team will function across multiple digital and traditional channels for our premiere group of stores.  This is a growth opportunity for those looking to build a career in media.

This position is full time and onsite at the Berkshire Hathaway Automotive Headquarters, located in Cypress Waters in Irving, Texas.

Essential Responsibilities And Duties

  • Assist in assembly of media performance reports, market research, and radio, television and cable web traffic reports associated media promotions, etc.
  • Assist with co-op documentation for media buys and provide stores and marketing managers with support as required
  • Occasional dealership visits with buyer or supervisor to present media plans/market updates
  • Develop an understanding of individual store goals and media needs, while handling any event or promotional requests
  • Assist in the input and tracking of buys and keep up with daily maintenance
  • Review and clear billing discrepancies with buyers and resolve with vendors
  • Compile research data to help the teams ensure client is reaching target audience
  • Learn how to estimate audience delivery by channel

Qualification Requirements
Education And/Or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in (B.A or B.S.) Broadcasting/ Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs including Excel and Word

Skills/Knowledge And Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules to meet deadlines
  • Ability to adjust set priorities and adjust workflow as required
  • Interest and working knowledge automotive sales and business principles
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Willingness to learn and master a wide variety of tasks
