Compensation: Full OTE: $75,000-100,000 per year

This is an ONSITE/IN-OFFICE Position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with GM/GSM to establish a plan for desired inventory 
  • Discuss and set inventory stocking levels with the Used Vehicle Director 
  • Acquire vehicles for inventory via online or live auctions 
  • Monitor alternate purchasing sources 
  • Review and make any necessary corrections to status/lot locations in Tekion 
  • Set up reconditioning plans on all purchases 
  • Manage ReconTRAC and make approvals or adjustments as necessary 
  • Communicate any repair concerns with Recon GM/Used Vehicle Director  
  • Get all necessary purchase documents to Canadian Coordinator  
  • Build relationships with wholesalers, importers, transportation, and stores 
  • Develop inventory strategy plans with all stores and understand their needs and buy plan 
  • Create plan for arbitration cases 
  • Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments 
  • Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments

What You Bring:

  • Previous experience in automotive auction buying or buying int he Canadian market
  • Must have the ability to retain crucial information regarding the retail/wholesale vehicle market 
  • Must be able to make detailed financial decisions within strict timeframes 
  • Proven organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities 
  • Demonstrated strong and effective oral and written communication skills 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
