We're seeking a skilled Inventory Photographer to capture high-quality images of our vehicle inventory for online listings and marketing materials. In this role, you'll photograph vehicle exteriors, interiors, and key features while ensuring consistent, professional imagery across our inventory.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, photography and editing experience, and the ability to present vehicles in their best light. This position works closely with our sales, marketing, and inventory teams and requires frequent travel between Chapman dealership locations.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality exterior, interior, and detail photographs of dealership vehicle inventory.
  • Ensure vehicle images are consistently professional, properly framed, well-lit, and free from distractions.
  • Use appropriate lighting, staging, and photography techniques to effectively showcase vehicle features.
  • Edit and retouch images as needed while maintaining an accurate representation of each vehicle.
  • Organize and categorize vehicle photos for efficient access and use across dealership platforms.
  • Ensure photography meets Chapman Automotive Group's quality and branding standards.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and inventory teams to prioritize vehicles and manage photography schedules.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and ensure online vehicle photography remains current as inventory changes.
  • Maintain and properly care for cameras, lenses, lighting, and other photography equipment.
  • Stay current on photography technology, editing techniques, and equipment and recommend improvements when appropriate.
  • Follow dealership policies and procedures related to vehicle photography and image management.
  • Travel frequently between Chapman dealership locations to photograph vehicle inventory.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive photography, commercial photography, or related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with photography equipment and photo-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality photography; automotive photography examples are preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong eye for composition, lighting, and presentation.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; education in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous dealership or automotive industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
