We are seeking an Senior Systems Validation Engineer to support the testing and validation of vehicle electrical and electronic systems within simulated and laboratory-based vehicle environments. This role will be responsible for evaluating system functionality against defined specifications, executing test scenarios, analyzing results, and communicating findings to engineering stakeholders.
The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of vehicle electrical architectures, system interactions, and feature functionality across multiple vehicle platforms. As experience grows, this individual will become a technical resource for end-to-end electrical system functionality and vehicle feature performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on testing and validation of vehicle electrical and electronic systems within simulated vehicle environments.
  • Execute defined test scenarios and validation activities in accordance with engineering specifications and program requirements.
  • Analyze test results, identify system issues or deviations, and document findings clearly and accurately.
  • Communicate test results, defects, risks, and recommendations to engineering teams and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test procedures, validation plans, and supporting documentation.
  • Update testing methodologies and documentation to reflect evolving product, system, and program requirements.
  • Investigate electrical and electronic system behavior and understand interactions between vehicle systems and features.
  • Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of system-level issues identified during validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support electrical/electronic system integration and vehicle feature development.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of vehicle electrical architectures, communication networks, and system dependencies across multiple vehicle platforms.
  • Serve as a growing technical resource for end-to-end electrical system functionality and vehicle feature performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong interest in automotive electrical/electronic systems and emerging vehicle technologies.
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic system concepts, system integration, and vehicle architectures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret test results and identify issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.
  • Proactive learning mindset and willingness to develop expertise in complex vehicle systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality test results and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing or other automotive simulation and validation environments.
  • Experience with vehicle communication networks such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or related automotive protocols.
  • Familiarity with electrical/electronic system integration and vehicle feature validation.
  • Experience with configuration management and change management processes.
  • Experience developing or maintaining test cases, test procedures, and validation documentation.
  • Familiarity with automotive development processes, testing methodologies, and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to multiple vehicle platforms or complex automotive electrical architectures.

Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000
