Job Title: Design Release Engineer
Location: Onsite (USA) Dearborn, MI
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Design Release Engineer with a strong background in automotive engineering. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, releasing, or supporting automotive components and a solid understanding of vehicle systems.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''''s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of automotive engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of engine systems or automotive components such as:
    • Fuel Injection Systems
    • Exhaust Systems
    • Powertrain
    • Transmission
  • Experience with product design, release, validation, and engineering change management.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, suppliers, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with CAD tools (CATIA, NX, Creo, or SolidWorks).
  • Knowledge of APQP, DFMEA, GD&T, and automotive development processes.
  • Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
