The System Engineer drives the system architecture and technical development of advanced automotive electronic and mechatronic systems. The role requires strong system engineering expertise to define system architecture, manage complex requirements, and lead cross-functional project development team.The System Engineer drives the system architecture and technical development of advanced automotive electronic and mechatronic systems. The role requires strong system engineering expertise to define system architecture, manage complex requirements, and lead cross-functional project development team.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain system architecture for complexelectronic and mechatronic products
  • Lead system requirements engineering, including decomposition, allocation,and traceability
  • Translate customer and regulatory requirements into technical systemspecifications
  • Coordinate technical development between software, hardware, mechanical, andvalidation teams
  • Lead system design reviews and technical risk assessments
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation activities
  • Identify and manage technical risks and system-level issues duringdevelopment
  • Interface with customers on technical topics, architecture discussions, andrequirement clarification
  • Contribute to engineering best practices and process improvements
  • Support project planning activities by contributing to technical effort estimation and resource planning
  • Monitor system development progress to help ensure technical deliverables are achieved within program timing and budget targets
  • Identify technical risks early and work with the project team to develop mitigation plans that protect project schedule and cost objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics or embedded systemdevelopment
  • Proven experience in system architecture and requirements engineering
  • Strong understanding of mechatronic systems
  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
  • Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS)
