Job description

CAPITAL Ford of Charlotte is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver automotive parts to our customers promptly and safely while providing exceptional service. In this role you will safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to customers in a timely manner, following designated routes and schedules. Automotive Parts Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload parts and supplies from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of items
  • Verify the accuracy of orders and invoices before delivery, addressing any discrepancies with the appropriate personnel
  • Collect payments for delivered parts as needed, maintaining accurate records of transactions
  • Communicate effectively with the parts department and other team members to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries and efficient workflow
  • Maintain a clean driving record and report any accidents, violations, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves, organizing parts, and conducting periodic inventory counts as needed
  • Other duties assigned
Automotive Parts Delivery Driver Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying orders and invoices
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime hours as needed
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and components is a plus
  • Must pass pre-employment background screenings
