Non-Standard Automobile Claims Supervisor - Insurance - Elgin, IL

Insurance Claims Manager Claims Supervisor Team Leader Leadership Commercial Auto General Liability Automobile Insurance Commercial Claims Personal Bodily Injury Property Damage _ .
 
Supervise team of adjusters handling both bodily injury and property damage claims arising out of Non-standard Automobile policies.
 
• Train adjusters on technical development of claim files.
 
• Coach team on coverage analysis, liability investigation, development and evaluation of damages, settlement strategies, and litigation management.
 
• Assign new claims to unit members based on complexity and skill set of staff.
 
• Oversee all aspects of claims handling including reserving, communication, documentation, litigation management, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement.
 
• Analyze and approve insurance claim payments.
 
• Ensure all claims eligible or ineligible for payment conform to quality, production standards, and specifications.
 
• Address complex appeals & complaints and prepare formal response to consumer complaints.
 
• Complete regular quality audits of work; record results; and counsel staff to address poor performance.
 
• Review and analyze processes, procedures, and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement.
 
• Prepare periodic reports for management and monitor system reports to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.
 
• Monitor and relay changes in coverage and laws to staff.
