Fast paced GM dealership, currently seeking Automotive Lube Technician to join our fast growing automotive Technician team.

As an Automotive Lube Technician you will be responsible for the inspection and diagnostics of automobiles, compile estimates of repair costs, and perform automotive repairs in a responsive fixed right the first time manner with emphasis of both quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Repairing, overhauling, or adjusting automotive brake systems
  • Repairing or replacing defective ball joint suspensions, brake shoes, or wheel bearings
  • Inspecting and testing new automobiles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made
  • Testing electronic computer components in automobiles to ensure proper operation
  • Testing and repairing automobile engines to ensure proper and efficient functioning
  • Installing or repairing air conditioners and service components, such as compressors, condensers and controls
  • Repairing, replacing, or adjusting defective fuel injection systems and components as required
  • Removing and replacing defective mufflers and tailpipes
  • Tire replacement & balancing along with performing 4 wheel alignments

Job Requirements

As an Automotive Technician you must have experience and knowledge with auto mechanic diagnosis, problem solving and repair.

Certified automotive technician, maintenance technician experience

  • A high level of motivation and energy and strong customer service skills are also required
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Excellent driving history
  • Must be neat, punctual and thorough
  • Only serious candidates need apply
