Responsibilities:
  • Meet organizational targets and goals by motivating leaders to cascade leadership focus and passion for serving customers to deliver exceptional service resulting in organizational outcomes. As well as develop, directly or indirectly, action plans/activities to achieve operational targets.
  • Coordinate hiring through the corporate HR team, completing performance evaluations regularly and developing short and long-term goals for each department leader, ensuring bench strength for organizational growth and flexibility.
  • Lead daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.
  • Consistent analytical review of monthly departmental sales, gross profit, and expenses. This may include comparison to budget, prior month and "same month - prior year" to identify significant variations.
  • Review aged receivables schedule summaries and approved via signature any required write-off adjustments.
  • Possess ability to explain the policies and procedures of the dealership to all employees and follow up with employees to ensure that these issues are understood and followed.
  • Review the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete and accurate
  • Coordinate regular meetings with the managers of each department to ensure their profitability and efficiency.
  • Partner with the internal Marketing team to create effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealership.

Qualifications
  • Business degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years of supervisory experience
  • Prior General Manager experience preferred.
  • Superior business acumen knowledge; ability to understand and implement business strategies for marketplace advantage.
  • Drives for continued development and training of managerial staff; supports dealership staff career path designs and development goals.
