Job description

IVR Automation Test Engineer

Job Location: San Jose, CA

Job Type: Contract

Experience Level: 6-8 years (at least 5 years on Automation testing using Hammer/Cyclone)

Skillset:

  • Interactive voice response (IVR)
  • Overall 6-8 years in IT (5-7 years in Quality Assurance)
  • Excellent analytical skills with an advanced level proficiency in QA practice creating/maintaining test plans, creating test harnesses, scripts; executing scripts and reporting.
  • Extensive knowledge on Automation testing using IVR technologies on any one of the tools Hammer/Cyara/Cyclone
  • Hands-on experience testing Interactive Voice response system and tool knowledge to test IVR
  • Ensure the correctness and completeness of voice applications
  • Experience verifying the logic of the Call Flow and BRDs
  • Experience testing CRM applications for the contact center is preferred
  • Experience with testing multilingual voice applications is preferred
  • Test applications by reviewing existing and newly-submitted tests for correctness and usability, creating new tests where missing, updating, improving, and correcting tests where necessary
  • Write comprehensive test plans and corresponding test cases for basic components and features.
  • Find bugs and apply engineering rigor to reproduce and diagnose those bugs, write concise and descriptive bug reports and present test results to other project stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of one or more programming/scripting languages is preferred
  • Supporting test setup, analyzing defect metrics data and attending defect calls with UAT support.
