The Automation Test Engineer II addresses critical software reliability and performance challenges within scalable cloud ecosystems. This role solves test coverage bottlenecks by implementing scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and microservices layers. By integrating modern AI tools into the testing lifecycle, the position drives faster feedback cycles and higher defect detection rates. The objective is to maintain seamless software delivery pipelines while reducing manual QA overhead.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)
  • Build and maintain scalable automated test suites across UI, API, and backend services to ensure release reliability

  • Apply Generative AI and coding assistants to accelerate boilerplate code generation, test case creation, and Gherkin scenario writing

  • Develop automated test validation for AWS Lambdas and microservices to ensure core business logic integrity

  • Integrate test suites directly into GitLab and Jenkins pipelines to enable continuous testing in active deployment workflows

  • Utilize AI-driven synthetic data generation and observability tools to diagnose edge cases and perform detailed root-cause analysis

  • Strong proficiency in automation scripting using Java, Python, or JavaScript paired with frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress

    • Scripting or programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript

    • Test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or REST Assured)

    • Relational database querying using SQL and Linux command-line operations
