Your technical abilities are critical to the success of our contracting controls business: installation, programming, system integration, functional testing, commissioning, and owner-training for building automation systems. You will collaborate with Design Engineers, Programmers and Field Engineers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and fully functional.**Responsibilities:*** Integrate various manufactures of DDC/PLC style controllers to form a reliable building automation network* Create Tridium/Niagara based, accurate graphic interfaces for building operators* Collaborate with vendors to produce graphical floor plans, unit schematics, and graphical schedules for building operations* Assist field engineer in quality control of field wiring* Assist field engineer in functional testing of devices* Assist field engineer in functional testing of programmed sequence of operations* Assist field engineer in commissioning of customer graphics* Train owner/operator on building automation graphical interface* Develop and maintain graphics library and graphics standards* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.* Understand project scope and execute duties in timeline required* All other duties assigned**Qualifications + Knowledge Skills & Abilities:*** B.S. Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineering or a related field* 1-3 years of relevant experience* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on practical solutions that exceed client expectations* Excellent people skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment* Working knowledge using Microsoft 365 suite + Visio + Bluebeam + Niagara WorkbenchThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 - $90,000 in Illinois.
