Test Automation Software Engineer
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your Software Engineering expertise in a high impact role? We're rapidly building and launch capability for Enterprise-web based systems in the Cybersecurity field. We need a Software Engineer in Test Automation to transform the way we execute quality assurance.
You'll be responsible for understanding system functionality and test cases in-depth to design, implement, and advance software test automation capability. You'll analyze existing test automation software against the latest industry advancements in technology, to design and recommend new solutions. You'll determine test cases and rapidly implement software to improve automated coverage as a software engineer in test. You'll operationalize automation across a team of developers, manual testers, and automated testers.
You should have a background in software engineering and be able to learn new languages and technologies. You should have expertise in software engineering and quality assurance of complex web applications. You should be able to design technical solutions, make recommendations, and collaborate with testing and development teams.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience on web application development teams fielding production systems
  • 3+ years of experience with programming, including Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, and C# or .NET
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile development tools, including Git, Jira, or Wikis
  • Experience with test frameworks, including Selenium or Playwright
  • Experience with web-based user interfaces, REST APIs, and databases
  • Experience with test automation in CI/CD, including Jenkins or Github Actions
  • Knowledge of complex web-based application functions, modules, integrations, or data
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with SQL, Windows Server, IIS, Containers, and Linux
  • Experience with DevSecOps and GitOps
  • Experience with Security tools, including Github CodeQL or Static Code Analysis

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
