Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Video & Camera Systems)
Location: Milpitas, CA - Onsite
Duration: Contract Position
Job Description:
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation scripting (preferably Python), testing workflows, and hands-on experience with video tuning and camera systems. This role will be key in ensuring the quality and performance of cutting-edge imaging and video capture technologies across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python or other scripting languages
  • Execute comprehensive functional, regression, and performance tests for video and camera systems
  • Work closely with development and hardware teams to verify and validate on-camera functionality and video tuning parameters
  • Debug and analyze test failures, logs, and bugs across hardware and software layers
  • Contribute to test framework enhancements and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Generate detailed test reports, documentation, and ensure traceability of requirements
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of video processing, image quality tuning, and camera system validation
  • Familiarity with embedded systems or mobile platforms (Android, iOS, or SoC-based systems)
  • Ability to read and analyze logs from camera/video systems for quality and performance metrics
  • Experience with on-camera testing environments is a strong plus
Preferred Qualifications:
