Job description

Responsibilities
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness, and Flux to enable fast, reliable, and automated software delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep) to ensure consistent and repeatable environments.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Dynatrace to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of our applications and infrastructure.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and automation tools using languages like Python, C#, or Java to automate operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and provide support for our CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for our infrastructure, processes, and runbooks within Confluence.
  • Incident Management: Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to and resolve production incidents, using Jira to track and manage issues.
  • Security: Integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are secure and compliant.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
  • Development Background: Proven software development experience in languages such as Python, C#, Java, or a similar object-oriented language.
  • CI/CD & GitOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and concepts, specifically GitHub, Actions and Harness. Familiarity with GitOps/Harness principles and tools like Flux.
  • Containerization: Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Cloud Platforms: Proficient in using and managing services on a major cloud platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), with Azure being a plus.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with APM, monitoring, and logging tools, with a strong preference for Dynatrace.
  • Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) for issue tracking and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a passion for learning new technologies.
