Description
Coordinates, develops, implements and maintains automation cells for a smooth and standardized secondary process. All cells designed to improve ergonomics, throughput, quality, and customer satisfaction. Support and improve manufacturing processes during initial launch and startup process.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems and equipment
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on automation machinery
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical and mechanical components
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop and implement automation solutions
- Test and calibrate automated systems to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor and analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and update schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation for automation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technology into existing processes
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation or related field
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Ability to detect, diagnose, and resolve issues in automated systems
- Experience with calibrating and fine-tuning automation equipment
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software for designing automation systems
