Responsible for the analysis discipline within a business unit, from a technical perspective. Sets technical direction, develops analysis capabilities, and ensures alignment with business goals and analysis standards. Coaches analysis engineers, represents the company in technical forums, and influences product strategy through deep analysis insights.

  • Owns analysis methodologies across programs. Guides team in advanced topics and ensures compliance with standards. Defines internal methodologies and standards and ensures alignment with industry best practices.
  • Drives cross-disciplinary analysis strategies across programs. Establishes best practices for collaboration and data exchange between analysis domains. Promotes versatility and continuous learning within the team.
  • Defines CAE workflows and ensures consistency across projects. Reviews and approves FE models and results for critical components. Reviews and approves modeling approaches across projects. Ensures consistency, traceability and best practices in modeling assumptions.
  • Defines strategy for tool development and digitalization. Oversees tools lifecycle, training, and cross-functional integration.
  • Owns test-analysis integration across programs and establishes best practices for prediction and correlation. Represents the analysis discipline in test planning and reviews and drives innovation in test support methodologies.
  • Leads Root Cause investigation from technical stand point and secure measures for corrective and preventive actions. Actively propose technical solutions in his field of activity. Implement Lessons Learn and find synergies accross the product line/portfolio. Signs all dispositions and has the associated responsibilities.
  • Develops strategies for data governance and digital continuity within project. Effectively summarizes and communicates across multiple projects or an entire product line. Prepares strategic-level reporting tailored to senior stakeholders. Trusted to shape high-impact presentations for decision-makers.
  • Is proficient in at least 2 engineering discipline and understand other discipline challenges.
    Compute roadmap and case study. Bring new technology in the business
  • Is the owner of all bidding and proposal for the discipline. Leads cross-functional proposals.
  • Leads discussions and decision making process. Mentor other in reasoning and push his peer to critical thinking. Is the reference in terms of engineering judgement. Solves high stakes ambiguous problems.
  • Weighs technical challenges together with other business relevant input (e.g. cost, timeframe...)
  • Oversees the discipline compentences and ensures staff is properly trained. Identify, manage and maintain Key Competences within the department. Identify the core competences of tomorrow. Drives organisational learning and talent development strategies. Note: responsibilities share with line manager when applicable
  • Leads complex, cross-functional task initiatives. Aligns task execution with organizational strategies. Mentors teams in prioritization, automation, and focus strategies.
  • Set the course of product development together with the respective product lead

Your Story
  • BS or MS in Aerospace, Mechanical or other engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of analysis experience, including 10+ in aerospace industry.
  • Expert-level proficiency in FEA tools.
  • Demonstrated technical authority in FEA.
  • Advanced knowledge in detailed stress analysis, test prediction and correlation and test plans definition.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, review, and approve stress analysis methodologies.
  • Experience in technical governance and competence development.
  • Understands and complies with internal processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Build-up and maintain relevant contact with external stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace structures and components design and materials, preferred
  • Solid experience in composites, sandwich structures and lightweight materials, preferred.
  • Solid experience in shock, thermal and acoustic analysis, preferred.
  • Solid demonstrated experience in F&DT analysis, preferred.
  • Knowledge of the space industry and market, preferred
  • Strong project management capabilities, preferred.
